Fifth Grade Committee
Each year, fifth grade parents form this committee in an effort to provide variety of special class activities, social outings, and service projects designed to promote class spirit for the students’ last year of elementary school. The purpose is to foster friendships, which are intended to ease the transition to middle school. The Fifth Grade Committee coordinates the 5th Grade Variety Show for all 5th graders, produces and sells the annual school yearbook, organizes the Firth Grade Promotion Ceremony and reception, and provides a lasting gift for the school.
The Yearbook Committee has representatives form each class who work together to create and design a memorable yearbook which features the activities happening during the year and all students at Bird Rock Elementary. The 5th Grade yearbook committee works with the publisher and decided on the overall theme for the yearbook.
