Fall 2025 After School Enrichment Programs are LIVE!

Bird Rock Foundation is excited to announce the After School Enrichment programs for Fall Semester! Fall After School Enrichments will run from August 25th until November 14th.  After School Enrichments take place immediately following school dismissal. 

  

 Space for After School Enrichments is limited, please register ASAP in order to secure a spot for your child.

 

Note: 

  • Programs are run by individual vendors.  Click on each program name to view the flyer for more info, or click the individual Registration Links to sign up online. Please reach out to vendors with any questions regarding their specific programs. 

  •  All TK and K students will be picked up from their classrooms by their after-school enrichment instructors. All pick ups are at the front office gates.

  •  Spanish will be a year-long enrichment. 

 


Monday

Engineering Exploration, Wize Computing Academy / 3:10 - 4:10pm

UTK - 5

 

Jump into the world of Tech and Engineering fun! Get hands-on with cool tools as you design, build, and learn to code. We will explore various different technologies throughout the year: 3D modeling design and print, Robotics, Programming, and Coding. They may look different, but you'll discover how they all work in surprisingly similar ways! Along the way, learn to apply the scientific method as your ideas come to life through code and creativity. Two teachers will be there to assist different learning levels, UTK -2 and 3-5 to ensure we are able to build confidence and support the curiosity of our students.

*Happy French Class for kids will be taught by Estelle, a BRE parent, native and certified French teacher, who

specialized in primary education and studied at the Sorbonne.

Tuesday

Twirl / 3:00 - 4:00pm

K - 5

Twirl is taught by Heidi, a BRE parent, pediatric physical therapist, former collegiate feature twirler and state and national champion. Email Heidi.b.atwood@gmail.com to register.

All of our science programs are interactive, hands-on, inquiry based, and FUN! Get excited about science: chemistry, engineering, crazy science investigation, superhero science, physics, rocketry, STEAM.

Chess / 12:40 - 1:40pm

All Grade Levels Welcome: Beginners to Advanced

The program, dubbed “The Evans Method” by the United States Chess Federation, includes instruction, formal and casual play in a small group setting, and team events. Students receive prizes to reward participation, and everybody receives a trophy at the end of each session.

Tennis is taught by Bryce Bettwy, former collegiate tennis player and USPTCA certified tennis coach.

Thursday

Eco Arts / 3:10 - 4:30pm

UTK - 5

Join us to explore plants, animals, ecosystems, and sustainability while learning real art skills with materials like watercolors, clay, pastels, and recycled items. Every project connects creativity with nature! Students will develop their artistic voice by working weekly in their art journals, and will also create beautiful art pieces to display and take home. This class is full of nature-based painting and drawing lessons that will give your child the skills to unleash their creativity with a variety of art supplies. 90 minute class.

This class will teach ball handling, dribbling and proper shooting technique. Full court, live refereed scrimmages will be played at each practice!

Aya Expressive Arts / 3:10 - 4:10pm

UTK - 5

Each class offers students a consistent and inspiring space to express themselves creatively through hands-on mixed media art projects. Each project facilitated is intentionally designed around Aya Art Co.’s Core Values—entrepreneurship, creative problem solving, confidence building, mindfulness,multicultural art, art history, and environmental stewardship. These values are the heartbeat of our curriculum, ensuring that each student experience is both creatively enriching and personally empowering.
