Bird Rock Foundation is excited to announce the After School Enrichment programs for the Fall session! Fall After School Enrichments will run from August 17 through November 13.
Space for After School Enrichments is limited, please register ASAP in order to secure a spot for your child.

Programs are run by individual vendors. Click on each program name to view the flyer for more info, or click the individual Registration Links to sign up online. Please reach out to vendors with any questions regarding their specific programs.

All TK and K students will be picked up from their classrooms by their after-school enrichment instructors. All pick ups are at the front office gates.

Spanish will be a year-long enrichment.
Monday
Beginner Robotics / 3:10 - 4:10 @Lunch Arbor
Grades 3-5
Robotics is a fun, challenging, and engaging experience for kids. This innovative program is open to new and returning students in grades 3 to 5. Engineers will design, build, code, and complete challenges using Spike Prime robots and First Lego League competition style missions. All levels are welcome. Experiences will match the engineer’s level.
Team Robotics / 3:10 - 5:10 @Library
Grades 3-5, year-long program
New to Bird Rock Elementary is Team Robotics - a year-long commitment where participants prepare for and compete in First LEGO League robotics competitions. More information is available [here]. Beginner robotics or teacher approval is a prerequisite for Team participation.

Soccer / 3:10 - 4:10 pm

Learn the basics of the game of soccer. Passing, footwork, dribbling, kicking with accuracy and live scrimmages!

Twirl is taught by Heidi, a BRE parent, pediatric physical therapist, former collegiate feature twirler and state and national champion.
Science Guys / 3:05 - 4:05 pm
UTK - 5
Science Guys’ science programs are interactive, hands-on, inquiry based, and FUN! Get excited about science: chemistry, engineering, crazy science investigation, superhero science, physics, rocketry, STEAM.

Chess / 12:40 - 1:40 pm
All Grade Levels Welcome: Beginners to Advanced
Would you like to see your child improve their thinking skills while learning to play one of the world’s all time most beloved games? Chess has been proven to improve cognitive abilities and critical thinking skills–plus it’s a lot of fun! The program, dubbed “The Evans Method” by the United States Chess Federation, includes instruction, formal and casual play in a small group setting, and team events. Students receive prizes to reward participation, and everybody receives a trophy at the end of each session.
Tennis / 12:30 - 1:30 pm [Grades 1-2], 1:30 - 2:30 pm [Grades 3-5]

This class will teach ball handling, dribbling and proper shooting technique. Full court, live refereed scrimmages will be played at each practice!
